2026-03-12: Cocopedia.com is now using a new caching system that should make things faster. Please let me know if you encounter any new issues.

2026-03-15: MediaWiki has been reinstalled and the old database and files restored. It was pretty clogged up from being upgraded so many times since 2004. I am also testing out Cloudflare to see if it can prevent the 'bot assaults that took the site down last year. OS-9 Al (talk) 21:20, 15 March 2026 (EDT))

About the Software Info Box

Color Space Invaders was the first commercial clone of the arcade smash Space Invaders available for the Coco.It was also the closest version graphically until Mark Data Products Space Raiders came out. A good copy of the arcade space shoot-em-up. I have just added an earlier version screenshot showing the original name of the company, before it became Spectral Associates (it was originally known as Barnett & Bank Brothers). I have not been able to verify this; I am hoping somebody that was around that early in the Cocos history will know if this is correct or not.
